As you head south on the island of Geoje-si, it is actually quite scenic. Korea is a mountainous country with many rivers, and we are surrounded by the ocean which has it's fair share of rocky, tree covered islands. The kids enjoyed the drive, and the stop at the very southern tip where we saw the delights of a seafood village which was crowded with Koreans enjoying fresh catch which are stored in giant seawater tanks outside all the seafood eating establishments. I have to say that the kids probably enjoyed the ice cream best!

Summertime and all is a bloom.
Magenta Maple leaves.
Korean statues.
A wishing well.
Ruby and River and the giant bell.
Little hands.
Haegeumgang, a popular toursit sight.
Reflections of mischievious smiles!
Sisiters.
Fish to be chosen and cooked on the spot.
Small alleyways to explore.
More fish and sea food.
My lovelies at the southern tip.
Finally ice cream.

Flowers as far as the eye can see.
