Long walks in the wilds and noodle picnics at the harbour

We took a walk today along one of the many valleys on the island, it was a magical day with beautiful light. The rice fields are nearing harvest, and the weather has cooled just enough to make the days lazy and pleasant. We ended up at a quite harbour where we made some soba noodles and miso for a light supper. It did attract the attention of passers by, and the Korean's were very fascinated to see us eating pickled radish and kimchi:)

This, very sadly, is a dog farm:( A harsh reality and a visible indication of cuktural differences.
The flowers are still blooming, even though Autumn is upon us.

Giant pumpkins.

Amber training in the rice fields.

Fishing boats in the harbour.

Supper time picnic noodles and kimchi:)
