So today was pretty busy, I had shopping to do at the Home Mart, which is in Geoje, near the Samsung shipyard, at least a 25 minute drive. Wouldn't take so long if it were not for the incredible traffic lights, no wonder the Koreans give up and drive straight through them whilst they are red. I may have to start doing that myself, seems to be the trend anyways. So shopping was a bore, but I did manage to find some face cream, joys! Most of the cosmetics have an added whitener to them, not too sure I need to be any whiter, its the middle of winter!
Whilst River did his afternoon session at school I took Leiko for a run, it was great going, just need to invest in a lighter leash, its tough enough going uphill as it is. We ran a good 55 minute circuit, and there was only one gnarly incident involving a tree, a leash and two separate direction decisions. That and the small fact that she is terrified of earth movers, and we crossed a busy road straight into the face of one. She fared really well, and I've decided to christen her Leiko 'BraveHeart', bless her muddy cotton socks.
Amber and sleepover friend Lucy are watching High School Musical Three, and in the background there is much humming and karaoke of lyrics, and the all persuasive aroma of freshly popped corn. We took a trip to the Mr Pizza for supper, and River ate three slices! Surely a record. Ruby ordered lemonade, in defiance I am afraid, and remembered again that she still doesn't like it, so River shared his OJ with her, and all was well.
Paraffin arrived today, so I am off to try a burn now, if I can stand the cold outside that is!!
