This morning was sunny, so I took River and Leiko for a walk along the beachfront and we ogled the ships being constructed in the DSME shipyard. They are truly too massive for the camera to do them honest justice. River was very funny, picking up a 'walking stick', along the way and letting me know that he would do fine without my help on the uphill, as he could 'just use his stick'. He quite enjoys these early morning walkabouts, and he is definitely adventurous as well, always wanting to take the next turn in the road.
I had a rainy run whilst the kids were at school this afternoon, and it was nice to be the only one out there, sort of end of the worldish feeling, with heavy storm clouds and wind in the trees, pretty cool. I would like to take some shots around town sometime this week, will have to decide exactly how I will factor that all in. The weeks are going by pretty speedily at the moment, which isn't a bad thing as I am looking obscenely forward to summer. Talk in the house has already swung to holidays, more accurately where the next holiday should be spent. The camp remains divided on a surf vacation as opposed to a snorkel and freedive expedition. But one factor remains constant...let it be tropical!
Jon is building up his full suspension bike again, and I hope to get some cool stuff of him hitting his track in the yard, as well as some stuff of him on the trail. He is working on putting together a little bit of video with his edit suite, so I will be sure to add that as soon as it's ready...hooray!
